PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One person is dead after an argument outside a Southwest Philadelphia hotel parking lot turned violent Sunday morning.
According to Philadelphia police sources, two women met two men at a concert over the weekend and went back to the Hampton Inn along Bartram Avenue. That’s where sources said one of the women was allegedly attacked by the men.
The woman’s relatives were then called, and they made their way to the hotel, but by then, the two men had taken off.
In the parking lot of the hotel, sources said two relatives got into an argument around 4:30 a.m., and one fatally shot the other.
Detectives from both the Special Victims Unit and the Homicide Unit are investigating the case.
