PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Twelve Philadelphia teenagers were shot over the long holiday weekend, including two on Monday night -- a 17-year-old boy in North Philadelphia, who was killed, and a 13-year-old boy in West Philadelphia, who is expected to recover.
Among the victims were four teens who were shot on Friday — a 14-year-old, 15-year-old, and two 16-year-olds. The teens were shot at 10th and Ruscomb streets in Logan and were driven to the hospital by someone who then left.
All of the young men are expected to be physically OK.
The next day, a 17-year-old and 18-year-old were shot in Ogontz along Price Street, another 18-year-old at 38th Street and Fairmount Avenue, and a 15-year-old was shot in the face around 4 p.m. at 40th and Cambridge streets.
He later died at the hospital. Sources say the victim was from another neighborhood.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were also shot in different sections of North Philadelphia. Both are expected to be OK.
