PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Delaware County authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 13-year-old boy, along with two men who were also shot Monday night in Chester.
Around 10:30 p.m., Chester police officers were in the area of East 10th and Upland streets. Officers heard gunfire just a few blocks over, and the drove towards the sounds.
When they arrived on Madison Street, they found a 13-year-old face down in the grass in front of a home. He was shot in the chest and armpit, and was declared dead at the scene.
Two other men who were outside the house were also shot, both with wounds to their lower bodies. They are expected to physically recover.
Authorities have not released details about the relationship between the teen and the two men, and no one has been arrested.
