PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 19-year-old was shot several times Friday night during a gunfight in North Philadelphia.
According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, the teen was shot four times around 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Broad Street and Allegheny Avenue.
Surveillance video captured the teen limping to a SEPTA platform before he was taken to a nearby hospital by private vehicle for treatment and placed in stable condition.
What led to the shooting is not yet known, but police told NBC10 that the teenager also fired a gun. Several shell casings were scattered along the sidewalk. No arrests have been made.
