
UPPER MORELAND, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A deadly crash shut down the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Montgomery County for several hours early Sunday morning.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash involved three vehicles and happened just before 3:30 a.m. near mile marker 342 in Upper Moreland Township.
Two people were killed, and two others were injured, police said.
The Turnpike was closed for about five hours and reopened around 8:30 a.m.
Investigators believe the crash was caused by racing.
