PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two people were killed in a head-on collision in New Jersey early Saturday morning.
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office said that around 7:30 a.m., a stolen Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon collided with another vehicle at Route 50 and Third Street in Mays Landing, killing two people: Robert Barr, Jr., 54, and Alice Stilwell, 67. Both victims are from Egg Harbor Township.
Police said the Mercedes was stolen from Longport.
Police said four people in the stolen vehicle have been charged, including 18-year-old Nayshaun Brown and a 16-year-old with the initials J.D.
According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, J.D.'s blood and fingerprints were found in the Mercedes. He is charged with aggravated manslaughter and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
