2 men shot while shopping inside North Philly convenience store

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men are injured after a shooting at a North Philadelphia convenience store on Christmas morning.

It happened just before 5 a.m. According to our newsgathering partners at NBC10, two people pulled up to the store on Germantown Avenue near Temple Hospital, parked out front, and started firing.

Two men who were inside shopping were struck — one, in the chest, the other, in the arm and ankle.

The man who was shot in the chest is listed in critical condition. The other drove himself to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.

What led to the shooting is not yet known.
