PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A three-car crash had I-95 northbound near the Commodore Barry Bridge closed for nearly three hours Thanksgiving morning.
Chester fire officials say lanes were blocked around 6:30 a.m. causing a major traffic delay for holiday travelers.
Officials say a pedestrian from inside one of the cars involved in the crash was struck while attempting to flee the scene.
They say it “is suspected that they were driving under the influence” and it is not yet known if they were the cause of the accident.
As of now, no injuries have been reported. Lanes reopened around 10 a.m.
