PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for three people wanted in connection with a 10-person drug trafficking operation in Montgomery County.
Authorities began investigating the group in March after receiving a tip that a person was distributing cocaine and marijuana in Norristown.
The group was also using a location in Devon, Chester County, to facilitate the distribution of bulk quantities of marijuana. Officials conducted several controlled purchases and used GPS tracking to identify members of the organization.
Search warrants were executed between July and August. Officials seized more than 250 pounds of marijuana, 7.5 ounces of cocaine, 12 guns, and about $110,000. Seven members were arrested — six are due in court on Sept. 21. Sean Scott, one of the men accused of presiding over the operation, is awaiting extradition from Florida.
Arrest warrants have been issued for 59-year-old Craig Cole, 43-year-old Kevin Ringgold, and 45-year-old Andre Young.
All 10 are facing charges, which include conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver controlled substances.
