PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are investigating an apparent suicide and double homicide in South Philadelphia.
Officers responded to an incident at South 10th and Bigler streets around 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
When they arrived, police said they found three adult women inside a home with gunshot wounds to their heads.
They were pronounced dead a short time later.
According to police, preliminary findings indicate that two of the victims were shot and killed, and the third victim may have turned the gun on herself.
A firearm was recovered at the scene.
