PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Abington Township police are asking Elkins Park residents to review their surveillance and doorbell cameras for footage that may have captured a shooting on Sunday night.
Police responded to reports of gunfire around 8:15 p.m. along the 300 block of Cadwalader Avenue, near Jenkintown Road.
Investigators said a large group was gathered at a nearby basketball court behind the McKinley Fire Company when someone ran into the parking lot of the firehouse and fired multiple rounds at a passing vehicle traveling northbound on Cadwalder Avenue.
No one was hurt. There have been no arrests.
Police are looking for two vehicles involved in the case. One is an Audi sedan and the other is a gray Infinity sedan.
