PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The two men who were allegedly armed and drove from Virginia to the Pennsylvania Convention Center will move forward with trial on conspiracy and election interference charges.

Joshua Macias and Antonio LaMotta — both alleged QAnon supporters — were nabbed by Philly police a day after the presidential election.

Shortly after police located their Hummer parked near the Philadelphia ballot count, police said they found the two men armed outside the Convention Center. Neither had a permit to carry in Pennsylvania.

The pair were originally charged with gun offenses but now face additional charges, including election interference, conspiracy, and hindering performance of duty.

The Philadelphia judge dismissed the gun charges against Macias.

Prosecutors’ request to revoke bail for both men was denied, and the two remain out of prison.

Macias and LaMotta were seen on videos circulated on social media outside the U.S. Capitol during the insurrection on Jan. 6.

The two have not yet been charged in the Capitol attack.
