PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 14-year-old has been arrested in connection with a shooting Friday outside a SEPTA bus in Frankford.

SEPTA spokesperson Andrew Busch said an argument broke out between a 14-year-old and an 18-year-old just before 5 p.m. on a Route 3 bus.

One of them then got off on Womrath and Worrell streets, pulled out a handgun and fired at the bus. That’s when SEPTA officials said the other person exited the bus and returned fire. The 14-year-old ran off.

No injuries were reported, but a bullet pierced a window on the bus.

Police apprehended the 18-year-old at the scene.

SEPTA police are working with city officers to review bus surveillance footage.
