PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men were shot after an argument escalated at the Frankford Transportation Center Monday morning.
Around 9 a.m., officials said the men started fighting inside the main terminal. According to SEPTA, one man pulled out a gun and shot the other in the shoulder. They fought over the gun, and the initial shooter was shot in the hand, police said.
Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Yellow crime scene tape blocked off the entrances as police gathered evidence. Crews cleaned up blood on the ground inside the terminal and outside the doors. Police let riders in after about an hour and a half.
There were no disruptions to bus and El service. So far, there’s no word on any charges.
