PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking for three men who robbed a group of people at gunpoint in Center City early Sunday morning.
Around 3 a.m., officials said three masked men pulled up to 15th and Locust streets in a gray Hyundai and hopped out. They approached three people on the sidewalk.
Police said two of the suspects had handguns, and the third was armed with an AR-15-style rifle. Part of the incident was caught on video.
The robbers ordered the three people to get to the ground, but only two complied. According to police, one of the thieves hit the third person in the face with a handgun.
The suspects took phones, watches, keys, wallets, IDs and an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the three men fled eastbound on Locust Street in the gray Hyundai.
