1 dead, 2 injured in North Philly shooting

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in North Philadelphia Monday evening.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. near North 18th and Jefferson streets. All three victims were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where one of them, 47-year-old David Tennant, died.

A 32-year-old man was shot twice in the leg and is in critical condition. A 39-year-old man was shot three times in the legs and is stable.

Police said they found more than a dozen spent shell casings on the street.

What led to the shooting is not yet known.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
