PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are searching for a gunman who they said shot and killed a coworker at a bar in West Philadelphia overnight.
Officers were called to the 227 Bar and Lounge on 52nd Street, just off Girard Avenue, for a shooting in the early morning hours.
Investigators discovered that the shooting happened inside the bar after it had closed. They say two employees were arguing over closing duties when one shot the other and fled.
The victim died at the hospital.
Police have provided no other information about the potential suspect.
