PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Bensalem man has been charged with extorting sexually explicit pictures from nine underage girls.

Authorities said 21-year-old Jonathan Brodecki posed on Snapchat as a middle or high schooler with the username jack_goodric. He befriended a 15-year-old girl online, police said, and convinced her to send him sexually explicit pictures and videos.

When she tried to break off contact, he allegedly threatened to post the photos publicly. She went to the police in January and they investigated his account.

“Our detectives then were quickly able to identify eight other instances where Brodecki was able to obtain sexually explicit videos and pictures from juvenile females,” said Bensalem Police Director William McVey.

Police searched Brodecki's house in March and seized several electronic devices. They discovered an Instagram account that he used for the same purposes.

Investigators said Brodecki also sent sexually explicit images to multiple victims. In addition to extortion, officials said he threatened at least one victim that he would find her and rape her.

Brodecki turned himself in on Thursday and is being held on 10% of $5 million bail. He is facing multiple felony charges, including sexual abuse of children, sexual extortion and distribution of images, and possession of child pornography, among other offenses.

The nine victims ranged in age from 12 to 15 years old across multiple states. Authorities believe there may be more victims who have not yet been identified.

“We know of at least three others that he admits to extorting,” McVey said. “We believe there’s going to be many others that he at least reached out to.”

Anyone who has had contact with the jack_goodric account on Snapchat or Instagram is urged to contact Bensalem police at 215-633-3719.
