PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Bucks County man is behind bars in Florida after police said he traveled more than 1,000 miles to the home of a 14-year-old social media influencer. Investigators said he had developed a “delusional online fixation” with the teen.

According to police, Jarred Easter, of Trevose, showed up at the girl’s house and asked her father to speak with her. The father told him to leave and called the police.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office, located in the Florida Panhandle, said Easter sent “disturbing emails, nude photographs, and obsessive messages” to the girl over a three-month period.

Officials called the 29-year-old “a sick-minded individual who convinced himself he had a relationship with a child.”

Easter was arrested on Aug. 18.

He is charged with using a computer to solicit a child and traveling to meet a minor for sex. He is being held on a $250,000 bond.
