PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — At least four officers were assaulted, and police made at least four arrests and issued at least 31 citations on Sunday night, after the Eagles' NFC championship win brought hundreds of fans out to Broad Street to celebrate. While most of the people took to the streets in the spirit of fellowship and victory, there were some outliers who kept police busy all night.

At 9:31 p.m., a driver, identified as 26-year-old Rebekah DeShields of Narberth, drove a silver 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLA250 through a crowd of fans, injuring eight people, according to police.

At least eight people were injured. Video from the scene shows several people being taken into ambulances on stretchers and wheelchairs. Eight individuals suffered injuries ranging from minor pain to fractures, say police.

Police stopped DeShields a few blocks away and took her into custody. She faces charges including aggravated assault, driving without a license, simple assault, reckless driving and related offenses.

A chaotic night

In addition to the car crash, police issued 31 citations and arrested three more people.

Police say two officers were assaulted along Pattison Avenue while working the game. Jose Moya of Soquel, 32, of California, and Eugene Dennis, 44, of Media, have been charged in connection with aggravated assault. Around 10 p.m., an officer was struck in the head by a full water bottle while dispersing a crowd on Broad Street.

Police say gunshots were fired at the intersection of Frankford and Cottman avenues; on Chestnut Street; on Broad Street near Spring Garden Street; and on Sansom Street. At least two people were injured. They are in stable condition.

Officials say video circulating on social media shows a man firing a gun into the air at Frankford and Cottman. They are working to identify him.

On Sansom Street, five shell casings and a small amount of blood were found. No victims were located.

On South 11th Street, around 8 p.m., a 25-year-old man was stabbed in the leg after a verbal altercation. He is in stable condition. Police say 34-year-old Tramayne Davis-Blockson was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person.

Early Monday morning, police responded to a report of vandalism at the District Attorney's Office at 3 South Penn Square. There, they found a shattered front door and two cracked windows.
