PARKESBURG, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man Wednesday they say indecently assaulted an 11-year-old girl inside a Chester County Walmart in late January of this year.
Joseph Gerard Bouffard, 26, of Glenmoore, is charged with one felony count of unlawful contact with a minor and three misdemeanor charges including two for indecent assault and another for corrupting minors.
State Police said the assault happened on Jan. 24 at a Walmart in West Sadsbury Township. They say Bouffard followed the 11-year-old girl around the store before he had indecent contact with her and then left the premises.
Bouffard was arraigned in front of a judge in Parkesburg Wednesday and released without bail. A preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled for March 16.
