PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A child was struck by an NJ Transit bus Monday morning in Old City.
It happened at the intersection of Sixth and Market streets around 9 a.m.
According to our partners at NBC10, the child was hit as the Route 317 bus was making its way to Asbury Park from Sixth and Race streets.
Police say no riders were on the bus and the operator was not injured. The child was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown.
Traffic was held up for a bit as police investigated.
