PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police have identified another man wanted in connection with a mass shooting in Grays Ferry last month that left three dead and nine injured.
Police say a large crowd had gathered at South Etting and Dickinson streets, a narrow block with row homes on either side, on July 7. Shots were fired just before 1 a.m.
Investigators said the shooting was not sparked by an argument, social media beef, or some sort of turf war; it was random.
Three men, ages 19, 23 and 24, died. Nine others, ranging in age from 15 to 24, were injured and taken to the hospital.
Police say 13 different guns were used in the shooting. Investigators also recovered more than 140 pieces of ballistic evidence from the scene.
On Wednesday, police served a search warrant in West Philadelphia for 22-year-old Terrell Frazier. He was arrested and will be charged with homicide, attempted murder, aggravated assault and other offenses.
Now, police have issued an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Christopher Battle.
