PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in New Castle County, Delaware say they have made an arrest in a cold case from more than a decade ago.
In November 2012, police responded to Studio Green Apartments in Newark and found Peter DiSabatino on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he died a short time later.
The case went cold — until New Castle County police re-examined evidence and reinterviewed witnesses. After doing so, they identified 33-year-old Alando Dale as a suspect.
On Monday, Dale was taken into custody and is now facing first-degree murder charges. His bail was set at $1 million.
