PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — If you’re hosting or attending a Super Bowl watch party Sunday, you might be experiencing some cable disruptions.
Several Eagles fans that use Comcast’s Xfinity internet and cable service provider reported outages in Fishtown on Twitter just hours before kick-off. Entering addresses in that area on the provider’s outage map confirmed the outage with an estimated fixing by 6 p.m. — 30 minutes before the game starts.
Here are some other ways to catch the game live if you’re worried about not getting service in time:
• The Audacy app
• FOX Sports app
• fuboTV
The Super Bowl is one of the most highly trafficked TV watches of the year. Last year, the NFL reported that a little more than 200 million viewers tuned in for Super Bowl LVI.
Xfinity has not yet issued a statement about the disruption.
