PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A construction worker was stabbed to death inside a home in Roxborough on Wednesday.
Construction workers who spoke with NBC10 said they were on the roof at the time, but the stabbing happened inside.
Police said they found a 19-year-old man with puncture wounds to his chest outside the house on Ripka Street around 2 p.m.
Neighbors were stunned.
“I’m not feeling great about it,” said one neighbor. “It’s terrible, you know, every time we walk by that spot, that’s going to be with us for a long time.”
She said they have seen workers at the property for days but never noticed anything out of the ordinary.
Police took one man into custody for questioning, but they have not made any arrests.
