PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Registration is now open for a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Camden County organized specifically for veterans.
The only requirement to make an appointment is that a person must be a veteran already enrolled for benefits with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Camden County Commissioner Melinda Kane says 800 slots are available by calling 215-823-4014.
"There's no need to go online to register or anything like that," she said.
Kane says there are no age restrictions, and veterans don't need to have any pre-existing health conditions to qualify. This is open to all vets enrolled for VA benefits.
"It's an easy process, and it's a great way to get our veteran population vaccinated and to thank them for their service," she said.
The pop-up site opens this Saturday, March 27, at the Harry Williams Community Center in Runnemede, and shots will be administered from 7:45 a.m. until 2:15 p.m.
