PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One person has died and two others have been seriously injured after a crash early Monday morning in Burlington County.
Just minutes after midnight, police in Medford Lakes responded to a fatal crash in the area of Stokes Road and Pawnee Trail.
Five people were riding in one of the vehicles. One of those people died, while another was seriously injured, the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The person in the other vehicle was also badly hurt. There was no initial word on the other injuries.
Officials say an autopsy is being done on the person who died, but officials have not yet released their identity.
As of early Monday evening, no one had been taken into custody.
