PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A man on an e-scooter was struck and killed while trying to cross the street in Frankford Thursday night.
Around 10 p.m., 37-year-old Thomas Ogorman was going west on Margarette Street and attempting to cross Aramingo Avenue when he was struck by a Dodge Charger.
“According to witnesses, the 22-year-old driver of the Dodge Charger did have a steady green light,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
He said Ogorman was hit with so much force that he was knocked out of his sneakers.
The driver of the Dodge Charger was not injured. He stayed on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
