PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One man was killed and another was critically wounded after an argument escalated to violence in Northeast Philadelphia.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near Ditman Street and Harbison Avenue in Frankford.
A neighbor said he heard one man scream, “I’m going to kill you,” and then a gunshot.
“It appears that the crime scene is both inside of the property as well as on the front yard,” said Chief Inspector Scott Small. “We found a large amount of blood both inside and outside.”
The 64-year-old man who lives there was shot in the chest and killed.
The other man, a 30-year-old, was stabbed in the arm and leg. He is in critical condition.
Investigators said the two men knew each other, but they don’t know how. An investigation is ongoing.
