PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The FBI and Yeadon police are trying to find a suspect whom they say carjacked a pizza delivery driver.

Joseph Makell, 22, allegedly made a food order with a restaurant on the evening of November 9, and set up delivery for what they said was a random address in Yeadon Borough.

Authorities say that when the driver arrived at about 9 p.m., Makell and an unknown person pointed a gun at the driver, stole his vehicle and drove away.

Investigators also believe Makell also took part in a pair of other armed robberies involving delivery drivers.

Makell is Black, about 5'9" and 150 pounds, and was last living in Darby, according to the FBI.

Authorities say people should consider Makell to be "armed and dangerous." They ask anyone with information on where he may be to call Yeadon Police Detective Leah Cesanek at 484-832-6995, the FBI at 215-418-4000, or e-mail Cesanek at lcesanek@yeadonpd.org. Someone with a tip in the case can remain anonymous.
