PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Tolls on the Benjamin Franklin, Walt Whitman, Betsy Ross and Commodore Barry bridges will remain at their current level next year.

The Delaware River Port Authority announced Wednesday that their board of commissioners unanimously voted to postpone a scheduled increase, keeping it at $5 for the 12th consecutive year.

DRPA Chairwoman Cherelle Parker said she hopes this brings financial relief to working families.

Officials say they were able to use pandemic relief funds to pay off some debt and cut costs. Next year's budget is just 0.25% higher than this year.
