KING OF PRUSSIA, P.A. (KYW Newsradio) — Delaware County Chef Kevin Cooper won ‘Guy’s Chance Of A Lifetime’ back in 2021. The TV show prize was a branch of celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy! restaurant.

Cooper opened the restaurant in 2024 at the King of Prussia Mall, but it is now closed only a year later, and the chef is now taking Fieri to court for a breach of contract.

In his civil suit filed in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania last month, Cooper claims his winnings included a $100,000 annual salary and expenses to help the restaurant flourish, but he didn’t either as promised.

It asks the court to award that $100,000 salary, plus operational expenses, and names Chicken Guy LLC and Earl Enterprises as defendants.
