COLLINGDALE, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Two juveniles were shot late Friday afternoon in Delaware County — one, fatally.
Collingdale police were dispatched to the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue just before 4:30 p.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found one juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach, and another suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Officials say the juvenile who was shot in the stomach later died.
What led to the shooting is not yet known but an investigation is underway.
