PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in East Lansdowne are equipping Delco crossing guards with body-worn cameras.
The move comes a month after a crossing guard was attacked in Darby. A man is seen in surveillance video punching the guard in the face and knocking her to the ground during school dismissal.
The offender, 29-year-old Rashiem Russell, was arrested by U.S. marshals in South Carolina about a week later.
