PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A driver shot a dog in a drive-thru lane of a Wendy’s in the Crescentville section of Northeast Philadelphia, authorities said.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at the restaurant on Adams Avenue, near Rising Sun Avenue.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Police did not say how the dog is doing.
Investigators recovered a gun from the driver. They said he is cooperating with police. It’s unclear whether he will face any charges.
