PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A car plowed into a Family Dollar store in Northeast Philadelphia Sunday morning. The driver and two children inside the store were hurt.

It happened at the Family Dollar on Foulkrod Street in the Crescentville neighborhood.

Footage obtained from NBC10 shows a Nissan SUV buried about 50 feet deep in the store. The crash shattered windows and knocked over shelves.

Raeneshia Perkins was shopping with her four children when the crash happened. Two of her kids were struck by debris.

“I was upset at first [at the driver],” Perkins told NBC10. “My thing was to go cuss her out. But when I seen her, like, you can see something medical was wrong with her. Like, she just wasn’t there. So I did want to check on her. I made sure she was OK. But then I did go back, return to my kids because they’re my first priority and they were petrified and shaken.”

The driver and the two children hurt were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The driver’s husband said his wife has a pacemaker and heart issues. He said she told him she felt faint moments before the crash.
