PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are looking for the individual who helped themselves to a massive doughnut delivery in the Northeast.
Police said a Krispy Kreme delivery truck was stolen from the parking lot of a Royal Farms in the city’s Frankford neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Police were called to the Royal Farms, near Church Street and Aramingo Avenue, just after 5:10 a.m. for the reported theft of a 2023 GMC delivery truck.
The Krispy Kreme truck driver managed to track down the vehicle about 2 miles away to the intersection of East Erie Avenue and L Street.
By the time police found the truck, the suspect was gone — and an unknown number of doughnuts were missing from the vehicle, along with the driver’s iPhone.
No arrests have been made. Investigators are working to identify a suspect.
