PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A person is dead after a hit-and-run in West Philadelphia Friday night.
Police say a black Ford Explorer headed east on Chestnut Street around 11:30 p.m. ran a red light and hit a silver Ford Focus that was going south on 57th Street.
The impact launched the driver of the Ford Focus out of the car. They died at the scene about 15 minutes later.
The driver of the Ford Explorer drove off. Police ask anyone with information to contact them at 215-686-8477.
