PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — First responders found the body of a driver Friday morning after a dump truck went off a bridge in South Jersey Thursday night.

It happened in Bridgeton, Cumberland County. The truck was driving on Bridgeton-Fairton Road and was going over the Cohansey River when the driver lost control, went through a barrier and into the water.

When emergency crews arrived, a passenger was outside the truck. He was rescued and taken to the hospital to be checked out.

However, the driver was nowhere to be found. Dive crews searched the water and found his body.

Police identified him as 60-year-old Matthew Jacobs Jr.
