PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police in Chester County are looking for whoever tried to burglarize the home of Eagles running back Saquon Barkley Saturday morning.
Tredyffrin Township police received a call around 5 a.m. about a burglary in progress at a Malvern home.
By the time officers arrived, the suspects had fled the area.
Officials said Barkley and his family were unharmed. It is unclear if anything was taken from the home.
Police are looking for a white GMC Yukon Denali they believe was involved in the incident.
"We know there's more than one, but we're still trying to determine how many were involved," Capt. Tyler Moyer of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department told our newsgathering partners at NBC10.
Police said they did not hear about any similar incidents happening in the area overnight or early Saturday morning.
The Chester County District Attorney’s Office is helping with the ongoing investigation.
