PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Eagles fans have hired a lawyer as they continue to fight changes to tailgating rules at the Linc during home games.
Last week, the parking company, Sports Complex Parking Venture (SCPV), announced a number of changes, including dedicated lots for oversized vehicles.
Attendants will also direct people where to park, rather than allowing people to park wherever they want. And, tailgating will be restricted to the area in front of or behind your car.
Attorney George Bochetto said fans have certain expectations when they buy their season tickets.
“When you pay thousands and thousands of dollars, you do so with the expectation — and the encouragement by the Eagles — to have tailgating, to have tailgating parties,” he said. “That’s part of the contract.”
Bochetto said SCPV is interfering with that contract.
He said he still hasn’t heard from the company, but he believes there’s “room for optimism” that the Eagles will meet with the tailgaters.
