PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The FBI is offering a $1 million reward for the latest suspect added to its 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list: a man wanted for a 2014 Philadelphia kidnapping and double murder.

Trung Duc Lu is wanted for kidnapping, racketeering and drug offenses connected to the murder of two Vietnamese brothers, Vu and Viet Huynh, in Philadelphia in August 2014.

The Huyhn brothers were found duct-taped, zip-tied, and weighed down, dead in the Schulykill River. They were stabbed to death.

A third man, who was also attacked, managed to escape and flag down a motorist.

The feds said one of the suspects, Tam Le, a member of the Born to Kill (BTK) gang, had lured the brothers to his Southwest Philadelphia home, along with Lu and half a dozen other co-conspirators. He was convicted in 2022, but Lu has been on the run ever since.

Authorities believe 45-year-old Lu — a known nail technician — is still a member of the BTK gang, and he may be living in Vietnam or New York City.

He has a giant dragon tattoo on his back and the words “Asian Pride” above it, among several other smaller tattoos across his body.

Authorities said Lu goes by several aliases, including names like Brendan and Calvin, as well as variations of Tuan Hoang, Phong Le, and Phong Van Le.

He is considered armed and dangerous. The FBI’s tip line is 1-800-CALL-FBI.
