Democratic U.S. Senator John Fetterman spoke with the Washington Free Beacon, a conservative news outlet, on Wednesday about the United States' foreign policy with regards to Iran.

Sen. Fetterman did not mince words, saying that negotiation with a "regime that has been destabilizing the region for decades" is not an option.

Instead, he suggested military strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“Waste that s**t,” said Fetterman.

When discussing militant groups and terror organizations, Fetterman called Hamas a “bunch of tunnel rats with junkie rockets in the back of a Toyota truck.”

Fetterman has been open about his support for Israel in the ongoing war in Gaza, even having public disagreements with his own staff about his response to the war.
