PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A fire ripped through a Bucks County restaurant at a strip mall early Thursday morning.

Flames broke out in the Andalusia Bar and Grill on Bristol Pike around 4  a.m., sending thick smoke from the roof.

Battalion Chief Robert Sponheimer said firefighters went inside but had to fall back because it was too dangerous.

“There was a partial collapse on the second floor in the rear,” he said, but “no firefighters were injured.”

The flames were later put under control. There were no other injuries.

Several other shops in the strip mall sustained smoke damage.
