
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One person was found dead in an early-morning house fire in Narberth.
Firefighters responded to the blaze on Hampden Avenue, close to Haverford Avenue, around 3:30 a.m. Thursday.
Montgomery County officials said firefighters found one person dead in the house. The coroner was called in.
The victim has not been publicly identified. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
The Narberth Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal are investigating the cause of the deadly fire.
