PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A fire tore through a multi-million-dollar home in Radnor, Delaware County, early Wednesday morning.
It started a little after midnight in the attic of a house on Lesley Road near Abrahams Lane.
The house, assessed to be at least $1.6 million, is more than 100 years old.
Radnor Fire Chief Joseph Maguire said firefighters had to rip through layers of plaster to get to the flames.
The people inside were able to get out safely. No one was hurt.
The Fire Marshal will determine what caused the fire, but the chief said it appears to be accidental.
