PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Federal authorities have accused a former Chester County 911 operator and firefighter, who’s charged with possession of child sexual abuse materials, of sexually abusing a minor, and of hiding a camera in a firehouse to record teenagers secretly.

Federal court filings accuse Anton Bilski, 25, of Landenberg, of collecting and distributing images and videos of children being raped and sexually abused from 2023 through February of this year. They said in a recorded interview that Bilski told federal investigators he had spent thousands of dollars to buy CSAM on multiple platforms.

An online encrypted storage site suspended an account that federal authorities said is associated with Bilski. Court filings show it had more than 180 CSAM files.

In a motion requesting that Bilski remain behind bars before his trial to protect the public, federal investigators said they found evidence that Bilski sexually abused a minor he met through Snapchat in 2021. They said Bilski hid a camera in the Avondale Fire Company, where he was a lieutenant, to secretly record teenage volunteers.

A federal magistrate agreed and denied Bilski’s pretrial release.

In addition to being a volunteer with the Avondale Fire Company, Bilski was a Chester County 911 operator. He was fired when he was charged.
