PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A prison officer in South Jersey has been charged after federal prosecutors said she had a long sexual relationship with an inmate and paid others to be lookouts for them.
Corrections Officer Jordan Pensak was assigned to the federal prison in Fort Dix, Burlington County.
The FBI detailed graphic Instagram and text messages that Pensak and the inmate exchanged about their relationship.
In one of them, according to the court filing, she wrote about a pregnancy scare: “You ready to be an uncle? That aint good for this investigation. If the baby black and my husband white and Korean?!"
In a text to another person, investigators say, Pensak wrote, “We got alot done in that office when you was guard.”
Pensak is charged with sexual abuse of a person in federal custody.
She faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
