PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A freight train derailed in South Philadelphia Thursday.

Authorities say it happened around midnight on Delaware Avenue near the Walt Whitman Bridge and the marine terminals.

They say four CSX boxcars came off the tracks — one of them is blocking Delaware Avenue.

Nothing spilled from any of the cars, but some wires came down.

As of now, no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
